Really enjoyed this class! Ana was really friendly, and a good teacher. The studio was also really fresh looking with great vibes, and despite me being worried it was all the way out in Benfica, that was no issue at all, super easy to get to! Highly recommend, can’t wait to get my tile sent to me!

Ana was a great host, sharing more of the Portuguese Tiles history, with study material and complementing the awesome experience with a photo with my tile. Also, I came to the workshop in my last day in Lisbon, and she promptly suggested sending me my tile - very personalised experience and great relaxing technique.

It was great event. I visited classes with family, Ana gave detailed instructions how to get best result, we were interested in testing own pictures and she helped with advice. There were all required for art work and much more. Also Ana organized warm atmosphere where it was very great to work together with other students. Here workshop contains a lot of other interesting type of arts, techniques, instruments. I'm happy we choose Ana's masterclasses. And, of cause, I can definitely recommend this classes for everybody who want to try work with tiles.

Ana is a very patient teacher! We were the only ones there besides a local lady. She asked us to choose a design from a folder. Then we traced the design on tracing paper. The next step was creating a template by pricking holes along the lines. Ana then placed the template on a tile and rubbed graphite on the template which created the pattern on the tile. We then painted the design! It took us three hours, well beyond our time and Ana did not rush us to finish. It made for a nice change from walking up and down Lisbon streets and we found it very relaxing. My sons were not expecting to like it at all and ended up loving it. We visited the Tile Museum in Lisbon and read some of the tile techniques Ana had in her handouts. Her studio was a 30 minute Uber ride from the historic center. So it was not possible for us to go back to pick up the tiles once they were fired. So we paid her to ship them to us back home and are still eagerly awaiting them. So we shall see.

Ana was very patience and she explained very well before I went to the next steps. She was very professional and she showed me her students' arts and they were amazing. I enjoyed this class so much. Thanks Ana and I cannot wait to see the result of my tile.
