Ana was great at explaining how to create our own unique tile. She provided everything for us and gave us tips along the way for the best results. It was a unique experience that I recommend for people who love creative and unique projects. It was fun to see the whole process. You begin to really respect the level of detail it takes to create nice tiles. Thank you, Ana, for the experience. We loved it! :)

Everything about this experience was fun and enjoyable! Definitely recommend. Only thing that wasn't amazing was a miscommunication about when we'd be able to pick up our tiles - the experience said within a few days so we planned the experience based on our trip timing so we'd be able to collect them before heading home but it turned out she was going on holidays so we ended up having to pay for shipping them anyway. No judgement on taking holidays obviously, it just would have been nice to know beforehand that we'd be shipping them anyway. Still 5/5***!

Ana was great at explaining each step! It came out to be easier and pretty than I thought. I even thought we wouldn’t finish on time, bc of how much fun we were having completing each step. We finished right on time. I find this as a great bonding activity as I was solo and bonded well with families and couples that were there. My item was delivered, packed well and came out gorgeous. There were also many design options to choose from. Thank you Ana.

Must-do when visiting Lisbon! Wonderful experience with Ana! She’s so kind and patient with explaining the process and history of the tiles. Coffee & water were provided. You get to pick your tile design from a binder. All are beautiful so it’s hard to choose. Once you finish, Ana fires the tiles in a kiln, which takes a few days. I paid €15 to have mine shipped to me in the US because I was leaving Portugal soon. I have not received it yet, but anticipate it to come soon. Also, the studio is close to the bus line, if you don’t have a car.

This was the second tile painting class I took when I was in Lisbon. I absolutely loved it. It was an interesting and unique experience set in Ana's fabulous workshop. We learned how to transfer our designs to the tile and then paint them with beautiful pigments. Ana was very gracious, funny, and kind in woking with us. Whenever I started to get a little nervous that I screwed something up she was there to calm my nerves. She is also an extremely talented artist. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend Ana's tile painting workshop. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Lisbon.

Amazing experience! 7 of my girlfriends and I were celebrating a bachelorette party and wanted to do something artsy together and something to remind us of the trip. This was the perfect choice! The activity is meditative, engaging, and creative - everything you’d want on a mellow morning in between parties. We all enjoyed it immensely and also got to keep the tiles as souvenirs. Ana was very sweet and helpful, and very accommodating in terms us delivering our tiles to us after burning. Thanks Ana!

Must do on your trip to Portugal! Learn the art of tile painting in a beautiful art studio in an authentic Portuguese neighborhood of Lisbon! Ana was so kind and funny — taught us how to paint by hand using traditional techniques! Includes tea and cookies which is a nice treat! I had SO MUCH FUN!! Thank you, Ana!!

Ana takes her students through the wonders of the Portuguese azuléjos with passion and kindness. As a former teacher, she is very supportive in helping you to unleash your talents. Can’t wait to see the final output!! I can only recommend this experience if you come to Lisbon. It is such a precious moment!
