Loved this experience! Ana made me feel right at home, offering me water, coffee and cookies right when I walked in. She is so knowledgeable about tile art and even gives you a pamphlet that you can take home to read more about it. I had such a fun time making my tile. It felt so therapeutic and was the perfect activity to do on my first day in Lisbon. Highly recommend!

Ana was a wonderful teacher. Painting the tiles was a lovely and relaxing experience and we can't wait to see them when they arrive at our house! Before booking, you should be aware that her studio is a little bit outside of central Lisbon so you need to plan for travel time to and from. Also, the tiles need to be fired so you can't pick them up for a couple of days. If you don't want to pick them up, you always have the option of getting them shipped back home and the price was very reasonable.

had a great time painting tiles with ana! she is very friendly and shared a brief history and techniques on how to create a tile. she even took polaroid photos of people & their custom tiles for people to keep to remember the evening. good for beginners and advanced alike!

The entire experience was a delight! Ana was welcoming and encouraging; she loves what she does; her shop was beautiful and full of natural light; the actual process was meditative and relaxing; the coffee was an added delight; Ana personalized our experience; I thoroughly enjoyed partaking of this centuries old cultural art.
