You don’t need any previous art/drawing/painting experience - my husband has none and still enjoyed the workshop. I found the experience both fun and relaxing as Ana has nice music playing and encourages a positive atmosphere. We had to head home the next day, so she offered to ship the 2 tiles to us in Canada for 35€. Can’t wait for them to arrive!

Ana was very sweet and talked us through some Portuguese tile traditions before allowing us to pick our design and get started. We got to learn about the importance of the tiles in Portuguese culture and were walked through the techniques to create our own unique tiles with our own styles and touches. The location is a bit outside of city center, but it was very nice to see where many locals work and live. Makes for a great date night in Lisbon! Ana was so kind and hospitable the whole time.
