Our vacation had been quite busy, and this gave us an opportunity to slow down and reflect on the beautiful tiles of Portugal. It was quite a walk from the metro station, so if you are staying downtown lisbon, give yourselves an hour for public transit.

We could choose design and colours and she was always by our side if we had questions or problems. Ana was such a nice and welcoming person and I felt very comfortable at Casa do Azulejo. I received my personal tile to carry it home and I'm glad I gained this experience!

Read More PetraReally fun authentic tile painting experience. A bit out of the centre of Lisbon but it was a good experience getting there and back into the centre. I took an Uber in because I was running late and then I Metro’d back to my central hotel. Ana was friendly, and nice. The tile painting experience was fun and she is sending the finished tile back to NZ for 30 euros.
