Even the not as artistic members of the group had a good time and felt very positive and encouraged. We could not stay to pick them up since our appoint was the day before we left and they needed to be fired in the kiln. She mailed them to us and they arrived safely for a very reasonable shipping cost 11 days later. She created such a positive environment. It was fun to see her map and put a pin in for our visit. We highly recommend this for all skill levels and all ages as long as your kids can follow instructions. Thank you Ana for making a great memory and unique experience that helped us connect personally with a major cultural Portuguese tradition.

Read More MartaWe recommend! We did this class on our first day; my husband, my brother, and I. It was so lovely just to enjoy time chatting - when we weren't concentrating on our beautiful tiles - enjoying the coffee and cookies, and trying our hand in painting. Ana gave us enough direction to have a good outcome but also gave us the space to have a bit of fun! This session is focused on the art/creative aspect vs the historic piece - that said, Ana provides print outs of the history of tiles in Portugal and it was nice to be able to poke through that and then enjoy the time together with the guests vs sitting through a course! I was proud of our tiles - even my husband who isn't exactly the artsy type enjoyed this and painted a lovely ship on his tile!!
