We were a group of 8 and Ana was very kind to accommodate us all. We really enjoyed the experience and to have our own Portuguese tile as a souvenir. Would recommend without a doubt!

It was very quite (silence), i thought we will talk a little about historical background of tiles and making them, instead we got some papers with tekst about tiles. Ana was very nice as a teacher and she led us throught the steps of drawing. Nice touch is the photo at the end from polaroid.

She showed me how to trace the design (many to choose from) and how to transfer it on to the tile and then how the paints worked. Very helpful and informative. Read More FaryalAna was lovely but getting to the venue from Lisbon is quite a trek for tourists. The metro station is massive and we had no idea what direction to go in … we ended up getting taxi there and back. Maybe it mentioned that you then have to return a few days later to pick up tile … but I was not aware of this. We had to change our planned trip to Sintra in order to pick up the tile …. A bit of a drag actually. Please note Ana is not open on Sunday or Monday so you would have a problem if only coming for few days. It’s worth thinking about how you want to spend your time when in Lisbon. Also on our return we walked from the Metro and it took 27 mins …
