The only downside is that it‘s a little far from the center, so you have to plan a little time for the commute but it‘s really easy to reach by Bus or Metro :)
Read More JuleWonderful!! Better than expected! And I had high expectations! The activity is explained very clear and you are guided through the whole process by Ana. She’s super sweet and practical. Consider you need some days after painting in order to have te tile cooked and ready. I asked in advanced to ship the tiles to Madrid (of course this is an extra cost - so ask) as I was not going to be in Lisbon by the time my tile was ready. Went with my best friend and now we have the best souvenir from Lisbon. Thanks Ana!! I highly recommend this activity.

Ana was lovely and patient as we figured out the art of tile painting. She guides you through each step: tracing a pattern, transferring the pattern to a tile, and finally painting the tile. The cost to ship our two tiles home to the US was reasonable, €8.50.

It seems to me that in Lisbon, whose buildings are richly decorated with tiles, you definitely need to create your own Azulejo. Anna's workshop has all the possibilities: a rich selection of drawings from classic to modern, a lot of pigments to translate your idea. And Anna is an experienced master who will help, guide and even correct your mistakes.
