She took us step by step through the process and provided help along the way. She was also able to ship our tiles for us to Australia for 30 euros (2 tiles) as we were not staying in Lisbon long enough to pick up our tiles. Such a fun and unique experience :)

She is clearly a skilled artisan, and it was so fun to participate in an activity than connected us to Portugal's vibrant history by making tiles inspired by the beautiful motifs throughout the country. We visited the National Tile Museum ahead of our visit for inspiration, and I'd definitely recommend planning that into your time in Lisbon ahead of your workshop. It gave us lots of ideas to personalize our tiles while working with Ana's templates and examples. She had so many options to choose from, it was hard to pick just one! I wish we had more time in Lisbon and I could have participated in another one of her workshops, she offers quite a few! One thing to note is that the studio is a bit of a way out of downtown, so make sure you leave enough time to arrive for your scheduled workshop. Traffic was quite a bit slower than we expected, so please plan accordingly!

His design was less intricate than mine so the was going through the process more quickly. Ana made watched my process and made sure she came back to me and explained each step as I approached it.
